How to find your saved posts on Instagram
Instagram keeps everything you save in a Saved area linked from your profile. Open your profile in the app or on instagram.com and look for Saved. There you will find your saved posts and any collections you created. Menu labels and positions can change between versions, so check Instagram's own help if yours looks different.

To save a post, use the bookmark icon under it. Instagram also lets you file a save into a collection from there.
Where native Instagram saves fall short
Saving is easy. Finding things later is the hard part.
- Collections only help if you sorted in the moment. Anything saved without a collection ends up in the big pile of all your saves.
- Siloed. Your Instagram saves sit apart from what you saved on X, LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube and Facebook. If you remember the idea but not the platform, you search six places.
Put your Instagram saves in one library with AgentMash

How syncing works
- Sync is manual. Imports happen when you click Sync. Nothing runs in the background, so posts you save on Instagram later arrive the next time you click Sync.
- Full resync. A normal sync only brings in new saves. Full resync also refreshes the order of your saves and which collections they belong to.
- Logged out? The sync stops and asks you to log in to instagram.com in this browser, then sync again.
- Desktop only. There is no mobile import.
Instagram collections
AgentMash keeps your Instagram collections as AgentMash collections, and a post can be in several. If you delete a collection on Instagram, it disappears from AgentMash on your next sync. Your agents can list your collections and read the saves inside each one.
What AgentMash keeps for each Instagram save
- Stored: the caption, the author, the link to the post, the post date, like and comment counts, and the images. A carousel keeps up to 20 slides. For a reel or video, AgentMash keeps the poster image only. Because Instagram image links expire, AgentMash also copies the images into its own storage after each sync.
- Not stored: video files, transcripts and the date you saved the post. AgentMash shows when it first synced a save, not when you saved it on Instagram.
